Laptop gamers and researchers asked to donate GPU and CPU time to aid fight Coronavirus

A distributed computing task is urging researchers and Laptop gamers globally to donate some of their CPU and GPU computing ability to aid in the fight in opposition to coronavirus, also recognized as COVID-19.

[email protected] (FAH) is an global task based mostly in the Pande Lab at Stanford University. Led by Dr Greg Bowman, the task utilises the idle computing ability of hundreds of 1000’s of PCs owned by volunteers throughout the globe to simulate the molecular dynamics of protein folding and misfolding in various diseases.

In accordance to FAH, these simulations will aid scientists in finding new drug chances in opposition to diseases.

Be sure to be patient with us! There is a large amount of important science to be done

The FAH workforce is at this time aiming to look into how specific
